Gilles Arseneault has gained several decades of experience in the field of mechanically welded fabrications. As an instructor certified by Emploi Québec in high-pressure welding and various welding processes, he taught welding improvement across multiple processes for 10 years at adult education services in evening classes.
During his career, he has held various roles such as VPDG at Foresteel Industries Inc., VP Operations, VP Production, Director of a welded fabrication plant, Director of Operations for North America, Production Director, and Director of Quality Assurance for major contracts.
His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including rail transportation (manufacturing locomotives and passenger trains), large bus bars for Aluminerie Alcan (Rio Tinto), Pechiney technology, and Reynolds technology in Nigeria. He has worked on components for hydroelectric power plants, as well as the manufacturing of industrial boilers, pressure tanks in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors, large-scale HVAC chillers, and steel, aluminum, and stainless steel structures. Gilles possesses extensive experience in production planning, continuous improvement, just-in-time manufacturing, production management, purchasing, and quality assurance, making him an invaluable asset to the organization.
