Job description
Join the engineering team and develop yourself to become a technical reference in electrical installations and controls at Ivys Adsorption Inc. You will have the chance to contribute directly to the electrical design of our products, as well as to the programming of the PLC and HMI/SCADA networks of our control systems. We'll also need your skills and ideas to improve our current products, and to help us design our future products.
This internship is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the standards applicable to the Electrical Code in explosive zones (biogas, hydrogen, etc.). You'll make a real contribution to the development of renewable energy solutions and play a key role in our mission to provide clean, high-quality energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing electrical schematics with AutoCAD Electrical ;
- Program, design and configure PLC and HMI/SCADA networks for our gas treatment systems;
- Validate programs at the factory ;
- Provide technical support during production and for units in service;
- Participate in design reviews, select and size electrical components;
- Create and revise specifications, programs and product documentation (IOM, product specifications, drawings, etc.);
- Help solve production problems;
- Assist the engineering team in all other tasks related to the management of our products, such as planning, component sourcing, cost reduction, etc. ;
Requirements
You're the ideal intern if, in addition to being dynamic and curious, you have experience and, above all, a keen interest in :
• PLC programming and electrical design;
• Process equipment integration (PLC, control panels, HMI, pressure/temperature transmitters, valves, motors, VFDs, etc.);
• Gas and renewable energies;
We work in a bilingual environment, so fluency in spoken and written French and English is important.
